My sincerest Apologies for the Beilman.com site being down so long. It was a combination of the IT staff (me) , being way to busy and an upgrade gone awry. When I started hosting this, I was using mysql4 database. My hosting provider was gently nudging me to move to their new MySQL5 DB. Finally, they were REALLY asking me to migrate. So, I made a copy of the database and removed the MySQL4 instance. I had trouble restoring the database. I was however in the middle of crazy work hours, so I put it aside. Tonight, I dug into it and with some help from my provider it is back up.

During my research, I found that that the CMS I use (php fusion) has a bunch of new upgrades that make it look better. Maybe over the holidays, I will do a formal change process and migrate it. With Facebook being so popular, I realize that the site doesn't get used as much as it once did, however, I owe it to all things Beilman to keep this going. 11/16/2010

The Beilman Family Reunion - July 2-4, 2010
The Reunion was a success and the weather was great. Approximately 110 guests attended and all appeared to have a good time. Hopefully the next Beilman Family Reunion will be organized in 2015 and this time in Eastern Kansas.

Larry Beilman (Melvin's Son) died in Wichita. This was discovered today and the time of or date of death is not yet certain. Larry had some health problems that may have caused the death. (More to come)....

Leona Beilman, 88, Hays, died Monday, July 28, 2008, at Hays Good Samaritan Center.
